Instead of talking about exercise itself, this week on “Active Now,” you’ll learn about the fuel the body needs both before a good workout and after.

Registered dietician Adrien Paczosa with Austin Fit says lots of leafy green vegetables are great for the body. They’ve been linked to anti-inflammatory agents which help the body recover after a good workout.

Other recommended foods include quinoa and Greek yogurt.
