If you spent a lot of time in the doctor’s office as a kid for allergies and asthma, chances are, so will your children.

Diagnosing asthma can be difficult, often because the symptoms are similar to upper respiratory infections.

Seventy-percent of kids who have asthma do have allergies which can trigger an attack, and sometimes, it's critical to get tested.

A trip to your allergist may be necessary to find out if you are allergic to common triggers, like pollen or pets.
