Buffy was brought to the Austin Animal Center by a police officer after being hit by a car. She had some lameness and mild abrasions but, thankfully, suffered no serious injuries. She was treated and is fully recovered. Buffy is heartworm negative and is spayed.
She may have been on the streets for awhile, so she could use some good nutrition to put weight on as well as improve her coat. Then, she will be quite the looker!
Buffy walks well on a leash and she knows the "sit" command. She gives good eye contact and is mild mannered.
Our pet is happy to give a nice tail wag and accept your affection. She likely would prefer a more mature canine friend, so if you do have a resident dog, an adoption counselor will be happy to arrange for a meet-and-greet.
Buffy's ID # is A658166. She is in Kennel 21 of the Town Lake Animal Center. The center is located at 1156 W. Cesar Chavez St.
