Your Driver's Ed: Maintaining antifreeze levels

There are two types of antifreeze, also known as engine coolant.

The first is green and it’s called ethylene glycol. The second is red and it’s called propylene glycol.

It’s important to know which type your car uses and stick with it. Before adding antifreeze, you want to mix it 50-50 with distilled water.
