Dallas native and fashionista Louise Black has faced good and bad critiques from fashion gurus like Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn and Michael Koors.
The sixth season Project Runway contestant is now one of several designers teaming up with local boutiques for Austin Fashion Week.
She’ll promote her new limited edition evening wear, featuring rich luxurious fabrics and short hemlines. She’ll also be paired with Feathers Boutique.
"[They] have gone over all the designers and stores that are participating based on aesthetics and ideas have put us together," Hoover said. "I think it's a really great match."
The public will get a chance to see her designs on Aug. 18, when stores along South Congress Avenue are showcased.
Austin Fashion Week is August 14 - 21.
Publisher and Editorial Director of Brilliant Magazine.com Lance Avery Morgan spoke to Black and Hoover about the pairing during Fashionably 8.
