Water conservation is not only an important thing to keep in while working on your lawn in Central Texas, but it can actually save you money through rebates from the City of Austin.

The city’s new WaterWise Landscape Program offers rebates to some homeowners to convert some of their property into landscape which is more water efficient.

Registration for the program is open until October 19.
