Central Texas students have a new program to help them become “green” citizens.

A new proclamation from the City of Austin recently designated the new generation coming out of the Austin Discovery School as “Generation Zero.”

The school cooperated with Keep Austin Beautiful to design a new curriculum which focuses on environmentally-friendly topics.

The Austin Discovery School is the first school to complete the new curriculum, which is integrated throughout the school.
