With a donation to KMFA Classical 89.5 FM, you can help plant a tree in Bastrop.

KMFA is conducting its annual spring pledge drive, with the theme 'Evergreen,' through March 28. The radio station is partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation and the Bastrop Lost Pines Recovery Project to help restore the cherished loblolly pine forests that were lost in the wildfires of 2011.

KMFA will plant one or more trees in your name depending on the amount of your pledge to the station. It's a great chance to plant a tree and sustain the beauty of all-classical radio at the same time.

Donations can be made by calling 512-472-2221 or visiting KMFA's website, www.kmfa.org.
