Creating shopping lists and meal plans from scratch can be time consuming, but one local website is helping make those tasks a little easier.
Dad, Manuel Rosso, wanted an easier way to grocery shop for his family. He wanted to solve repeating shopping frustrations like forgetting a shopping list or not knowing what's on sale, so he developed Food on the Table.
With Food on the Table, your store's weekly sales are listed, and you can add recipes to your meal plan to incorporate those deals.
"We're trying to make it as simple as possible, and the process easy and allow you to go to the grocery store and get through the whole experience very quickly," Rosso said.
To start, answer a few questions about where you like to shop and what you like to eat. Then, with a few clicks of the mouse, you can create your week's meal plan and shopping list.
"You can save anywhere from $40 to $100 a month because you're basing it on what's on sale," Rosso said.
If you're on the go, you can also do it all from your phone.
"I might be in the waiting line to pick up the kids from school or leaving work and trying to get things done quickly," Rosso said. "That's where the mobile app comes in handy."
You can find more information on their website FoodOnTheTable.com or by following their Facebook Page.
