The Zilker Kite Festival is an annual Austin tradition that keeps getting better.
The event, in its 84th year, kicks off Sunday afternoon. Even if you don’t have a kite this year, it won’t be an issue at Zilker Park.
ABC Pest and Lawn Care is supplying 5,000 free kites to fest-goers this year. There will be an area to build your own kite, and even if one breaks, there will be "kite doctors" on hand to return your kite to the skies.
