Last week on “Out in the Garden,” YNN’s Donna Friedenreich spoke with herb-expert Chris Winslow about growing culinary herbs in your own garden. She continues the conversation this week, focusing on rosemary and thyme.
Winslow, owner of It’s About Thyme nursery, said both rosemary and thyme are perfect culinary herbs to grow in Central Texas gardens.
“Rosemary is an ideal culinary herb for the Austin area. It’s winter-hardy, evergreen, drought-tolerant and can take the heat of the summer,” Winslow said. “Thyme is really the same way.”
