If you are interested in growing a garden of fresh spring vegetables, there are many which can be planted in the January to February timeline.
Patty Leander is a master gardener with a lush backyard garden. She offered up tips on how to make sure your new veggies are successful when springtime comes.
“Plant them (the seeds) about three to four inches apart, just put them right in there,” she said. “Press them down to make sure you get good see to soil contact and then just cover them up.”
In the video above, Leander details which vegetables she plants and why. For more information, check out this handy '>vegetable planting guide.
We will be back in Patty’s vegetable gardens next week, so she can share her wisdom about planning the garden before you plant it including—location, design and layout, and healthy soil.
