Poinsettias are usually the plant of choice for holiday décor, but they can be a little dangerous. Their latex-like sap can irritate the skin and harm your pets.
There are some beautiful winter alternatives to poinsettias, like the Christmas cactus, Cyclamen and Amaryllis flowers.
