One of the most important gardening resolutions you can make for 2013 is to be more environmentally conscious.

A good place to start is with compost. You can make compost on your own, but if you don’t have the time or energy, you can buy local, all-natural compost at your neighborhood nursery.

Also, there are a variety of non-toxic pesticides and treatments for your garden which weren’t available 10 to 15 years ago.
