Whether it’s picking up trash on the beach or pulling out trash from the bays, there are plenty of opportunities to help out.
Every year, volunteers help Texas Parks and Wildlife remove unsightly and potentially dangerous metal traps from the state’s bays known as abandoned crab traps and they’re looking for recruits for this February.
And in March, it’s the annual Big Shell Cleanup on Padre Island National Seashore. More in this report.
