It’s funny in the movies, but in real life, meeting the parents can be a nightmare.
However, there are a few things you can do this holiday season to make a good first impression. Most importantly, remember to keep it classy.
When in doubt, stay on the conservative side. Moms say appropriate dress shows you not only have respect for yourself, but for the family.
Avoid short or long-winded answers and ask open ended questions. It shows you’re personable and genuinely interested in the family.
Ask if you can help with dinner or dishes, abide by the rules and be a good house guest.
