At the E3 video game convention this year, many developers showed how they are working to get games off of the couch and moving.
Fitness games have completely reversed the idea of the game hunched over for hours, moving only his or her fingers. They bring the promise of a personal trainer workout into the comfort of your living room.
Nike is getting into the mix with Nike+ Kinect, a workout program developers insist is tailored to the player.
“This experience gives you access to the same assessment, training methods and real-time feedback we give our elite athletes,” Stefan Olander with Nike said. “Following an assessment of your fitness and athleticism you'll move straight in to the most personalized digital training experience in the world.”
