CharityMiles

Help out those in need this holiday season as you get in your daily workout.

When you start up CharityMiles, you first swipe to select a charity you'd like to help. Hit the ‘info’ button in the corner to learn more about each charity. Once you've done that, choose what type of exercise you'd like to do to: walk, run or bike.

Then, hit start and as you exercise, money is donated to your cause based on how well you do. Bikers earn 10 cents per mile, while walkers and runners earn 25 cents per mile.

CharityMiles is a free app for iPhones and Androids.

Budge!

Budge! lets you place bets with your friends, for real money, but the dollars don’t dgo into the winner's pocket, but to charity.

You start by challenging a friend. Then, choose a challenge or type in your own and place your wager: $1, $2 or $5. Once a winner has been determined, the other person, aka the loser, makes the donation through the app. The app also integrates with Facebook, giving the winner bragging rights as well.

Budge! is a free app for iOS devices.
