Wilde about Texas Football: Smaller stadium, same love

The passion for high school football is equal among communities across the state. The size of the stadiums are not.
In rural communities, the stadiums are often small, but as fans of the Prairie Lea Indians will say, a small stadium just means the community is closer.
"It's kind of small so you know everybody," Prairie Lea High School student said.
At Prairie Lea, due to their small size, they play football in a slightly different way. Instead of 11 players lining up on each side, the Indians play 6-man football.
"It's Texas football and it's 6-man,” announcer Joel Densman said. “It's fast paced, a little bit different rules, a little bit different yardage. It's just a whole different game."
It’s a different game, but the love is still the same.
"The spirit we have from the crowd, it's just awesome. Everybody comes out and supports the team," student Shelli Hardaway said.
Prairie Lea will be play Round Rock on Friday night.
