Autumn is finally upon us in Central Texas and football fans are dressing for it.

Coats, hats and blankets keep the crowd in Dripping Springs warm on the now-chilly Friday nights. Hot cocoa was the drink of choice for the Tigers fans.

Team boosters held a fish fry to raise money for the team as well as dish up some steamy fare for the fans.

"It raises money for the music department and the athletic department,” parent Nicholas Dotin said. “These are all parents who are volunteering their time. Myself, my daughter's in the band."

Dotin said that while the weather is chilly, it’s still a large improvement over the brutal summer.

"It beats the beginning of the year. It was so hot at 105,” he said. “When you're grilling burgers, it's a little tough. Tonight's really nice."
