APD officer will not face charges in 2011 fatal shooting

A Travis County Grand Jury ruled Tuesday that APD Officer Steven Peña will not face charges in the fatal shooting of 30-year-old Gilbert Vallejo. The grand jury heard from witnesses who said Vallejo was shooting and trying to kick in the door of the apartment where his former girlfriend lived.
