Students of the University of Texas ‘moov’ed into the forty acres this week.

Thousands of new and returning students loaded their things into the campus residence halls this weekend.

Volunteers were around to help lend a hand with boxes, help find parking and providing water.

Many staff members were also on hand to introduce the families to the university, including U.T. President Bill Powers.

"They are excited but they have a little bit of ‘What is it going to be like? Where do I go?’” Powers said. “We're just here to let them know that we're ready for them. We're excited about them being here, excited about their families being here."

The University says that about 70 percent of the beds on campus are reserved for the incoming freshmen.

Classes start next Wednesday.
