Traffic consistently ranks as one of the biggest annoyances Austinites face each day, but one design team has come up with what they say could solve the problem, even if it’s still firmly a fantasy.
Frog Design Inc. proposed a creative solution to the problem. While we’re all stuck on the ground, why not take to the air?
The proposal includes a system of elevated gondolas, all moving across the city without affecting Austin’s current traffic plan or natural resources like Lady Bird Lake or the Barton Creek Greenbelt.
Colin Pope, editor of the Austin Business Journal, sat down with Paul Brown to talk about what is most feasible with the plan. Check it out.
