The long-awaited Whole Foods at the Domain in North Austin is slated to open its doors Jan. 15.
Austin Business Journal Editor Colin Pope said the grocer blames a few permitting hiccups for the delay on opening—the structure has been sitting idle for months.
The Whole Foods in the Gateways Shopping Center in the Arboretum, just a few miles from the new location, will stay put. That brings the total Whole Foods locations in the Capital City to five.
The organic food retailer will also be debuting some new advertising and marketing, including some food deals.
