The mother of a Stephen F. Austin High School student was arrested Thursday morning after police say she attacked two students and an assistant principal.
According to a letter sent home to parents, the parent entered the school before classes began and confronted two students. The students “allegedly had disagreements” with her child. An assistant principal intervened and was physically assaulted by the parent.
AISD police responded and took the mother into custody. She’s been charged with two counts of assault with injury and one count of assault of a public servant, according to the letter to parents.
The students and the assistant principal received minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
