Two weeks on a bike sounds much better if you mix in some beer.
Davis Tucker is setting out for Denver on his bike. He and a group of cyclists are making the 1,400 mile ride to raise awareness for prostate cancer.
It's an ailment that struck his longtime friend, North by Northwest Brew Master Don Thompson. It's also a cancer many are uncomfortable talking about.
"Guys are comfortable with their beer. They're comfortable with their bikes, so we're using those two things to hopefully get them in a position to where they can discuss it and have a conversation and then go get checked," Tucker said.
The cyclists will make 13 stops along the way. They'll host eight craft beer events in Texas, New Mexico and Colorado. Click here for more information.
