They are the quick ones and the smart ones—the fast fest goers who have first pick of the top spots on Zilker’s Great Lawn.
As soon as the gates opened for the Austin City Limits Music Festival on Friday, the devoted made their way to a coveted tree on the top of a hill, overlooking almost every stage.
“We plan it out every year,” Austin resident Christina Corich said. “We have groups of two out of the seven of us and everyone has a different job and whoever can get here first has to at least take claim to our very valuable property.”
