Spend a little time at the State Fair of Texas, and you'll find that you can fry almost anything.
Nutella, pumpkin pie and s’mores all saw their time in the fryer, but some of the fried concoctions left people shaking their heads—the fried lemonade resembled more of a lemon-tasting cake.
"It's the state fair you have to come and try everything fried and the Thanksgiving dinner—just reading the description in the paper sounded wonderful," fair attendee Danny Wilson said.
Fried thanksgiving dinner was awarded the most creative, but the deep-fried Cuban roll took home the best tasting honors.
The State Fair of Texas continues through Oct. 20.
