While music fans at the Austin City Limits Music Festival saw a bit of rain Friday evening, there's plenty more to come.
The second day of ACL's second weekend kicked off to a muggy start with a promise of rain showers throughout the day. YNN meteorologists give a 50 percent rain chance going through the afternoon, but say wet weather is even more likely on Sunday.
Depeche Mode and Muse closed out Friday's festivities at the park and Kings of Leon and The Cure are scheduled to do the same on Saturday. Local band Bright Light Social Hour is slated to close out the Austin Ventures stage with a 7 p.m. set.
This is the first year ACL spans two weekends. The second weekend sold out earlier this week. When asked if the city was receiving twice the complaints from neighbors, Austin Mayor Lee Leffingwell said city leaders will have to wait until the festival is over to determine the festival's effect.
On Friday, the mayor also stressed the importance of parking and traveling to the park responsibly. In the first weekend, Austin police issued 566 parking tickets and towed 22 cars just around Zilker Park.
