A group of riders are racing their motorcycles across Texas for AIDS research.
The trip is called Kiehl’s Texas Run for amfAR, a foundation dedicated to ending the disease through prevention and research.
Kiehl’s, a skin and hair care company, is joining the fight by selling red-capped hand lotion and sponsoring the charity motorcycle run in support of AIDS research.
Tim Lopez of the Plain White Tees is joining the multi-day ride.
“We’ll be stopping for hand lotion breaks and small concerts,” he said.
The band will be releasing its newest music video at a 1 p.m. send-off party at Nordstrom at Barton Creek Mall on Tuesday before the riders hit the road for Houston.
