Some of the tributes to the lives lost 10 years ago on September 11th are already underway. The day before the anniversary, thousands in New York paused to remember some of the heroes lost.

Behind Sunday’s anniversary will be a ceremony to remember the lives lost in the World Trade Center 10 years ago, but Saturday, a memorial service was held in Midtown Manhattan to honor the members of the New York fire department who went up the towers and never made it out.
