Active 8: Trail Foundation hosts moonlight run with food, drinks

The Moonlight Margarita Run is right around the corner.
The event is an annual 5K run that features margaritas and fajitas after the race.
"It’s always our favorite event of the year. It’s a lot of fun. It’s really our privilege to sponsor this event and the foundation," Maudie’s Tex-Mex spokesperson Joe Draker said.
Slots for the race are still open and all the proceeds benefit the Trail Foundation.
"All the race benefits will go to enhance this area, which is the Johnson Creek Trailhead. [This is] where most people get started in their weekly and weekend runs. So, enhancing these areas, as well as other areas of the trail, is where everything will benefit," Trail Foundation spokesperson Katie Moran said.
