After 23 years serving the UT baseball team, Tommy Harmon's contract was not renewed. In comes assistant coach Tommy Nicholson, who is 31 years younger than Harmon.

Texas is hoping his youth will add a spark to this team, and Nicholson is hoping that same youth will help him relate to the young Longhorns.

Here's the resume of this baby-faced assistant..he's 32 years-old, Nicholson played at UT from 1998 until 2000, missing only 3 starts at second base. He coached as a volunteer assistant for the Horns in 2009 and 2010, helping the team reach the College World Series final, and the last couple seasons, he's been at Sacramento St. as an assistant, where he helped the the Hornets improve their win total by 12 games between 2011 and 2012.
