What better way to begin our high school previews than with a team that achieved perfection a season ago. The 2011 season is still fresh on the minds of the Wimberley football team after going 15-0 and capping off the season by hoisting the state championship trophy.

The team that took the field Monday morning looks a little different than the one that played in Cowboys Stadium last December. Wimberley lost 7 key guys on offense and will look to the defense to carry the team early in the season, they also face the high expectations of a repeat, which the Texans think can be done.

The Texans hit the road for their first contest when they face Llano on August 31st.
