Friday nights are packed with high flying stunts, great displays of teamwork, and some great athletes—and that's not even what happening on the field.

"It is way harder than it looks,” varsity cheer captain Ashley Zaroff said. “A lot of people say that cheer can't be that hard, but we have tons of girls that can do elite stunts where we put them way high into the air and most of the team can tumble and do backflips so it's pretty hard."

The cheerleaders of Vandegrift High School put on an impressive show on the sidelines to keep the crowd energized for their team.

"Our job is to make sure that the crowd is getting involved and excited screaming for our team and never losing energy," Zaroff said. “It’s so exhilirating and it’s awesome."
