Defense wins championships...one of the oldest sports cliches in the books is generally used to talk about football or basketball. The Texas volleyball team is hoping it rings true for them.
Jerritt Elliott's squad is tops in the nation in blocks, averaging more than three per set. That's helped spark the Horns to a 4-0 Big 12 start, and Elliott hopes will eventually lead to a run to a championship.
