With the University of Texas Longhorns set to face off against West Virginia University Saturday, Mountaineer fans have made the trek to Austin for the big game.

Both teams are undefeated so far this season, but fans know only one will team leave DKR Texas Memorial Stadium Saturday night with that record intact.

Hundreds of West Virginia fans could be found inside Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill on East Sixth Street Friday night, ready for the next day’s big game.

"We go to at least one or two away games a year, plus all the home games," Mountaineers fan Rick Mullens said.

Rick Mullen and his father Les sought a calmer Austin experience than what East Sixth Street has to offer.

Five-year-old Savannah is ready for the weekend. She toured South Congress with her mom and family friends.

Sarah McBride says South Austin was a must-see on this trip.

"Morgantown is such a very lively, spirited place,” she said. “It's kind of fun to come to Austin, which is also very spirited."

The game kicks off at 6 p.m. Tune into YNN’s Longhorn Gameday at 4 p.m. for interviews and in-depth analysis.
