NEW YORK (AP)-Mayor Michael Bloomberg says New York City Marathon is canceled.

The official NYC Mayor's Office twitter account tweeted: "We have decided to cancel the NYC Marathon. The New York Road Runners will have additional information in days ahead for participants."
