The blow of the whistle, the shouts of the quarterback and the clash of players' helmets are all part of the Friday night football soundscape, but one of the loudest and most important parts is found off the field during the game.
A high school football game just wouldn’t be the same without the school marching band on the sidelines, cheering their team on and keeping the crowd energized. They work together, just like the team on the field, to pump up the crowd with school and community proud.
In this “Outside the Huddle,” we caught up with one band to hear their side of the Friday night football story.
