Notre Dame will undoubtedly begin next season ranked among the nation's top college football teams, and it'll also begin the season with Durham Smythe on its roster.
The highly-regarded tight end from Belton committed to play for the Fighting Irish on Sunday.
Smythe originally committed to play at Texas but in mid-December, he decided he'd rather play elsewhere, and that place, it turns out, is South Bend, Indiana.
