Turns out the Texans are headed to the Super Bowl.
Cedar Park's 12-14 girls flag football team won the Houston regional tournament, qualifying for a trip to the NFL Flag Football Tournament of Championships in New Orleans. The Texans are going for back-to-back titles after grabbing taking home the championship last year.
The team left for New Orleans on Monday and will compete in an eight-team pool on Tuesday as part of the Super Bowl festivities.
