Texas State was able to tally a run in the third inning when Jordan Masek scored on a throwing error by the Texas Tech third baseman.

The Red Raiders scored in the fourth inning on an error by Anna Hernandez, and then tallied a trio of runs in the seventh inning off a pair of home runs to keep Texas State at a distance and seal the win.
