You think you've been waiting a long time to hear Mack Brown formally give the quarterback job to someone? Imagine how David Ash felt...

The relief evident in his voice when he spoke Tuesday, Ash is now in complete command of the UT offense this spring for the first time since he's been on campus. The Longhorns junior quarterback said he's comfortable in the new uptempo offense the Horns are transitioning to under Major Applewhite.

Ash said that it reminds him of what he did in high school. He's set the bar high for 2013, saying it's time for the Horns to win ALL the games again, and that the team is on the verge. As Ash enters his third year starting at QB, his to-do list for the 2013 season is lengthy.
