Last year as a freshman, UT basketball star Nneka Enemkpali averaged four points and five rebounds a game. So far, through three contests, this season she is averaging 25 points and 14 boards.

The former Pflugerville standout has set the net on fire, leading her team in scoring and making more than 70 percent of her shots. Lots of those points have come from hustle around the rim.

In her short time on campus, Enemkpali has figured out how to use that athleticism to her advantage.

As a starting forward, the sophomore has taken over a leadership role for the Horns.

Enemkpali's parents come down from Pflugerville to see all her home games. They've got to be proud of the huge strides she's already taken, and this is just the beginning.
