The Travis County Medical Examiner's office has released its official report on the murder of Jennifer Cave, 21.

The report confirms Cave was shot, stabbed and dismembered on Aug. 18 inside a West Campus apartment.

The report also says Cave had marijuana and methamphetamine in her system. She also had an alcohol level of point .13, which is above the legal limit of .08 as defined by Texas state law.

The medical examiner's report does not indicate under what circumstances the drugs or the alcohol entered Cave's system.

Colton Pitonyak, 22, is charged with Cave's murder.

He was arrested Aug. 23 in Eagle Pass. Pitonyak's next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 31.
