The fight to keep Wal-Mart out of Northcross Mall continues.

Responsible Growth for Northcross, a neighborhood group opposed to development plans that include a Wal-Mart Supercenter, conducted a survey this weekend to gauge public opinion about the redevelopment of the mall.

Volunteers collected responses from area residents and local businesses. You can also take the survey online.

The survey consists of four demographic questions and eight opinion-gathering questions. It also asks people what they would like at Northcross and if they support or oppose a Wal-Mart Supercenter.

The group wants to “assess the needs of area residents and property owners and to gather concerns related to the proposed redevelopment of Northcross Mall.”

The group expects to release the results of the survey sometime this week.
