Laura Hall will face no new charges in her trial for hindering the arrest of Colton Pitonyak.

Hall appeared at the 147th District Court Wednesday, where her trial date was reset to May 24.

Colton Pitonyak was convicted of murdering Jennifer Cave in 2005. Hall is accused of helping him flee to Mexico after the murder.

Originally, testimony during Pitonyak's trial concerning Hall's involvement in Cave's murder made prosecutors originally consider filing additional charges.

Also during the hearing, defense attorneys asked Judge Wilford Flowers to suppress some evidence from the trial. Flowers threw out that motion.
