An Aug. 13 trial date has been set for Laura Hall. She was in court Thursday for a pre-trial hearing.

Hall is accused of helping Colton Pitonyak flee to Mexico after Jennifer Cave's murder in 2005. Pitonyak was convicted of Cave's murder in January of this year.

Also during Thursday's proceedings, Judge Wilford Flowers denied a request to bar the state from prosecuting Hall for felony hindering apprehension.

Hall's next pre-trial hearing is scheduled for June 18. Her trial in August is expected to take about a week.
