If Laura Hall can make bail, she can get out of jail while she appeals her conviction.
Hall was convicted and sentenced to five years in prison for her role in the 2005 murder of Jennifer Cave.
A Travis County jury found her guilty of misdemeanor hindering apprehension and felony tampering with physical evidence.
Judge Wilford Flowers set her bond at $155,000 on Thursday.
At last check, Hall was still in the Travis County Jail.
The 24-year-old was initially accused of helping convicted murderer Colton Pitonyak dismember Cave's body and flee with him to Mexico in August 2005.
Cave was found shot, stabbed and partially dismembered in Pitonyak's West Campus apartment in Austin.
He is serving a 55-year sentence for the murder.
