The woman who was behind the wheel during a fatal wreck in Burnet County last week turned herself in.

Police issued an arrest warrant Friday for 47-year-old Lynda Mescher of Spicewood.

The wreck happened at the Grelle Recreation Center near Lake Travis Monday, Jan. 19.

Investigators said five children were in the bed of a truck that rolled over.

Eleven-year-old Brianna Plehn died in the crash.

Mescher is charged with injury to a child.

The investigation into the wreck continues, and more charges could follow.
